There are two way to use Facebook as a Marketplace

2) You can run Facebook ads that target people based on their location and interests.
Facebook ads
1) You have to Choose the Right Objective
2) Budget is an important consideration when designing and Creating ads.
3) Use unique and visually appealing ad creatives to pique consumers’ interest and get them to take action.
4) Target your Facebook ads where they will be seen by the right customers.
You have to Choose the Right Objective
1)Awareness: You can generate interest in your product or service by creating objectives that tell people about the advantages of your business.
Objective | Your business goal is to: |
---|---|
Brand awareness | Increase people’s awareness of your business, brand or service. |
Reach | Show your ad to as many people as possible in your target audience. |
2)Consideration: You can draw more customers by educating them about your business.
Objective | Your business goal is to: |
---|---|
Traffic | Send people from Facebook to any destination you choose, such as your website’s landing page, a blog post, app, phone call, etc. |
Engagement | Reach people more likely to engage with your post. Engagement includes likes, comments and shares but can also include offers claimed from your page. |
App installs | Send people to the store where they can download your business’s app. |
Video views | Share videos of your business with people on Facebook most likely to watch it. |
Lead generation | Collect leads for your business. Create ads that collect info from people interested in your product, such as sign-ups for newsletters, or have people give your business a call. |
Messages | Connect with people on Messenger, Instagram Direct, and WhatsApp. Communicate with potential or existing customers to encourage interest in your business. |
3) Conversion: Goals to encourage people who are interested in your business to become customers or clients.
Objective | Your business goal is to: |
---|---|
Conversions | Encourage people to take a specific action on your business’s site, such as having them add items to a cart, download your app, register for your site, call your business, or make a purchase. |
Catalog sales | Show products from your ecommerce store’s catalog to generate sales. |
Store traffic | Promote your brick-and-mortar business locations to people that are nearby. |
Budget is an important consideration when designing and Creating ads.
When you set up your ad, choose a budget for how much you’d like to spend. The more money you give your ad, the more people will see it. Your ad will get shown against other ads competing to reach the same audience. You can help your ad compete better by spending enough on it and keeping it running longer.
Use unique and visually appealing ad creatives to pique consumers’ interest and get them to take action.
Make sure that your image is high resolution and complements the message in your text. Use bright, contrasting colors and bold backgrounds to catch your audience’s attention
Keep headlines short and clear, so people can easily understand what your ad is about.
When possible, add a call-to-action button to encourage people to take an action that’s important to your business, such as “Book Now” or “Sign Up”.

Target your Facebook ads where they will be seen by the right customers.
Our systems will automatically determine the best locations for your ad to appear. These locations are selected based on the keywords you choose, the other ads and search results that show on that page, and the likelihood that your ad will receive clicks and conversions.
You can also specify where you don’t want your ads to appear. If you’d like to limit targeting to specific countries, states or cities, you can set these as well.
Your audience is a set of people who are each interested in what you offer. You can target ads based on age, gender, location, and interests. For example, if you sell clothes for young women, create an audience targeting female college students.
The more specific you are with your audience targeting, the more likely your ad will be shown to the right people.
If you narrow your targeting too much, your ad won’t reach many people. For example, if you choose “People with this interest” as your targeting option and then add only one interest, your ad may not be shown at all. We recommend that you choose “People with this interest or behavior” for most campaigns so that you can target multiple interests and behaviors.
If you’re still unsure about how to target your ads, we recommend using automatic targeting. Automatic targeting lets Facebook use what it knows about people on Facebook to find the right people for your ads. You choose a budget, set your bid and select an objective based on what you care about most (like clicks or impressions).
To create a campaign without selecting any targeting options, leave all targeting options blank. This type of campaign uses automatic placements and will show ads to the right people based on the objective you selected when creating the campaign.
